Poorly Poorly Milo...

Poor Milo...My gorgeous little sausage dog! He's 15 years old now...And he's doing well...as in he seems happy enough, but we had to take him to the vet yesterday. £81 later, we were told that he has cattaracts in both eyes, so his vision is like looking through a net curtain, he has kidney failure (although it's not causing him any distress, he wets his bed every night bless him, and wees for England) and he has a yeast infection on his skin...Poor thing! He really does seem fine in himself, but he makes lots of comic stumbles, where his legs just go from under him for no reason, and bumps into large objects and walks headlong into the glass conservatory door! We shouldn't laugh, but how could you not? We love him to bits though, and as long as he still seems happy, may he remain on this planet for many years to come! God bless little Milo-Man! :) xxx

Blues Connection - Born Under a Bad Sign

Last night I went to The First and Last pub in Sennen to watch my friend Mark's band; Blues Connection. Mark is the technically technical left-handed brilliantly brilliant drummer. They have a video on youtube created by Falmouth University students and I love it! It's really funny and even looks a bit retro? Am I allowed to say that? Oh well, just did!!! Enjoy the video and the song...they're a fab band! xxx

The Amazing Danny Pratt - Mr Right

I met Danny Pratt recently- he is one of the loveliest, most genuine people around and is so talented. He's a successful model and a brilliant song-writer, singer and guitarist...And as we can see from this video, he is also a rather accomplished ukuele-ist!!!!! You can check out his MySpace music page HERE, where you can also listen to more of his gorgeous tunes, such as Warlords, Pretty Girls and Sweeten the Blow which I believe was produced by Zero 7. Please check him out...he's up and coming and I just know he's gonna be huge! Loves xxx

Pinch, Punch, First of the Month...

Wow...it's been a long time! I haven't posted anything since November! Oops! I think life just got a bit on top of me!!! So...A lot must have happened since I last posted...Hmm..Well, there was Christmas...which in all honesty, I have barely any recollection of...I had a stressful January and a stressful start at a new placement school. At the beginning of that I felt very odd...I really wasn't ready for a new placement! My confidence went right down the drain, but it only lasted a few weeks..I adore it now, it's a really fun place to be. Then there was February and March..Again, I have no recollection, apart from playing a few samba gigs and playing flute at a disco themed gig in a gorgeous pub called The Driftwood in St Agnes! The setlist was amazing- basically it was anything with the word "Boogie" in the title...Blame it on the Boogie, Jungle Boogie...You get the picture! So, April has just been which was a FUN month! A lot happened in April- I had 2 weeks for Easter holidays and I spent the whole time in London. I went out in Notting Hill for a friend's B'day party, visits to Richmond Park, watching F1 (sadly only on the tele), BBQs with friends, a trip to Brighton..and the best thing of all- I went to Exeter to buy a car AND it was delivered to me in London! How cooooool! It's my baby and she's called Bertha, a.k.a. Big Bum Bertha! It's a BMW 116......lovelyyyyyy! I am actually in love with her..she is the best thing ever. I had to part exchange my Peugeot 206 called Gizza which was a tearful goodbye but I am so happy with Bertha...love her! I'll post photos soon. I'm going to try really hard (again!) to keep up with my blog. Not much else to report...Over and out! Lots of love xxx
