Tonight I met up with some friends from school that I haven't seen in AGES! It was SO nice to catch up with them and find out what they're all doing!!! We got a takeaway and sat and had a chat and then we went to a gig to see Aruba Red who was AMAZING live! Like...SO GOOD! Her voice was SO soulful and so lovely that videos and recordings just don't do it justice. She sang SUCH a beautiful version of On & On by Eryka Badu - it was incredible. It was just an acoustic set at Gylly so it was right next to the beach...really really lovely! An amazing night :) Thanks girls x

- My name's Laura and I'm a serial knitter! There, I've said it! I love to knit and I love to blog. I'm a terrible crocheter, but I give it a good go (whilst watching many many youtube tutorials!) I love music and play in a samba band which is so much fun! I also play the flute and am about to start a music PGCE - so excited! In the meantime I'm working in a couple of shops - a gorgeous boutique selling fabulous handmade goodies like hand-blown glass beaded jewellery, leather bracelets, sewn cushions and creatures and knitted knick-knacks and I love it. I even have a couple of my own items in there which is even better. I also work in a clothes shop and the girls I work with are absolutely amazing. They have such enormous and funny personalities and I love them all to bits. I really need a good old creative outlet and I'm hoping that a mixture of my crafting, music-ing, swap bot-ing and blogging will fill that gaping void! Love, Laura xxx
